Snapshots In Time

Snapshots In Time, by Eric Grate, is a unique collection of twenty hardscrabble vignettes that present the reader with a fleeting glimpse of the bigger picture. It is left up to the reader to decide who is good and who is bad, what is right and what is wrong, and ultimately, how each story plays out to its end. The author presents a cast of characters worthy of the niche he is carving out in literary fiction. Heroes and villains. Winners and losers. Saints and sinners. Do with them what you will.

"Incredibly thought-provoking. The world needs to discover Eric Grate

and his unique brand of hardscrabble fiction."   -   Abbie Miles

I'm not going to lie—it took me a lot longer to read this book than it should have. After each short "snapshot" of a story, I would sit and think about what the rest of the story might be, making up my own narrative to finish the small snippet I’d been given. I can say that I truly enjoyed this. I feel like I got so much more out of a book written in this style, and I felt much more involved. This book is only 41 pages, but with all the directions it leads your mind, it gives you about 400 pages' worth of stories
